During a visit to the German armed forces academy in Hamburg Chancellor Gerhard Schröder expressed his profound respect for the men and women in the armed services who have served or are serving in peacekeeping missions abroad. He indicated that the German government intends to continue to make a significant contribution to crisis management efforts in the world
