The European Commission approved on 16 June 2004 aid amounting to €27 million destined for the construction of a propylene pipeline from Rotterdam, via Antwerp to Cologne and the German Ruhr Area. The aid will be granted by the German, Dutch and Belgian authorities. The beneficiary is the European Pipeline Company (EPC), a consortium of companies active in the chemical industry. |
