Now 20 languages on Europa

The launch of nine new languages on Europa was timed to coincide with the welcome visit to Brussels of the ten new Commissioners-Designate from the acceding states. The access to the new language pages can be found on Europa's main gateway page at http://europa.eu.int. The first set of pages in the new official languages provide basic information on the organisation, history, activities and decision-making process of the European Union. Legal texts are already being added to EUR-Lex at http://europa.eu.int/eur-lex under the domain heading 'Preparing enlargement' as they become available. Details of the new Commissioners can be found at http://europa.eu.int/comm/commissioners/10comm_en.htm
