Press Release: Government calls on European Union to make choices

In the EU budget negotiations, the Netherlands will push for spending controls, policy reforms, and a more favourable Dutch net position. This was the Dutch Government's response, on 24 February 2004, to the European Commission's proposals for the EU budget for 2007-2013.
