Press Release: Major EU conference aimed at bringing EU closer to the citizens during Irish Presidency – Minister Roche

The Irish Minister for European Affairs, on 1 December 2003, announced a major EU conference which would see ministers for European Affairs from across Europe coming together to discuss the importance of engaging with the general public on European Affairs, and the manner in which this would be achieved. The conference would take place in April 2004, during the Irish Presidency of the EU.
