Updated European Ombudsman Bibliography, October 2003

The European Ombudsman website contains a bibliography of theses, books and journal articles on the role of the Ombudsman at http://www.euro-ombudsman.eu.int/bibliog/en/default.htm. This collection of references has recently been updated but suggestions for further additions are invited. The references do not form part of a searchable database. The information is simply presented as a list, divided into three sections - theses, books and articles, with new items marked - and arranged in alphabetical order by author, so access is essentially by browsing. Unfortunately in many cases the bibliographic details are incomplete or inconsistently presented, which detracts from the usefulness of the data
