Press Release: EU-Mercosur: Trade Ministerial agrees roadmap for final phase of free trade negotiations

EU Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy and External Relations Commissioner Chris Patten met with their Mercosur counterparts in Brussels on 12 November 2003, for bilateral free trade talks. Both parties agreed on an ambitious and detailed programme of work - the 'Brussels Programme' - for the final phase of the bi-regional negotiations.
