Third consultation paper on the implementation of the EC water framework directive (2000/60/EC)

The UK Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs launched the third consultation paper on the Water Framework Directive on 4 August 2003. The main purpose of this third consultation paper is to invite views on draft Regulations and a revised partial Regulatory Impact Assessment. In doing so this document takes forward some of the issues raised in the second consultation, summarises responses and provides the Government's response.
