Press Release: Minister launches Department’s statement of strategy. Crucial week ahead for Irish agriculture

Speaking in Dublin on 9 June 2003, at the launch of his Department's Statement of Strategy 2003-2005, the Irish Minister for Agriculture and Food, Joe Walsh, said that this could be a crucial week for the future of Irish agriculture. He was referring to the EU Council of Agriculture Ministers which began in Luxembourg on 11 June 2003 and ended on 26 June 2003. Details of concessions obtained for Irish farmers are listed.
