Community legislation under the management of Enterprise DG

The Enterprise DG is responsible for the management of a large volume of the internal market acquis. The acquis covers the provisions on industrial policy and small and medium-sized enterprises, and legislation in the field of industrial products, including over 475 directives. The Enterprise DG provides a valuable information tool known as the 'Pink Book', which is a structured list of the legislation for which the Enterprise DG is responsible. The 'Pink Book' is a valuable resource for those working in the area, providing a comprehensive listing per sector of the applicable legislation. Updated twice a year to take account of legislative developments, the most recent edition covers the period up to the end of 2002. The next edition will cover the period up to 30 June 2003.
