A new website to help UK organisations access £43 million EU funding to fight organised crime and improve crime prevention was launched by the Home Office on 16 January 2003. AGIS, a five-year EU funding programme (2003-2007) aims to support research and development projects to fight organised crime, further crime prevention initiatives and encourage and support sharing of best practice across Europe and the development of European policy in this area. |
