España obtiene 14 millones de euros para el aceite de oliva [Spain receives 14 million euros for olive oil]

The European Union Management Committee for Oils and Fats, which held its meeting in Brussels on 13 November 2002, approved the Regulation establishing the financing arrangements for the programme of quality improvement for the 2003/04 production period. Spain would receive 14.137.960 euros, which would be used to finance various previously established initiatives to improve the quality of olive oil production and deal with its impact on the environment.
