España incrementa su participación en el capital del BEI en un 56,79 por 100 [Spain increases its participation in the EIB by 56,79 per cent]

In November 2002, the membership structure of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank was altered to make room for the new members of an enlarged Community. As a result of this, Spain increased its participation in the Bank's capital to 10.24 per cent and also gained greater voting powers.
