Building LeaderSHIP

European shipyards dominated the world market for many years, but they now face tough competition from Asia. They are responding by putting increasing emphasis on innovation and R&D efforts. Today, shipbuilding is a high-tech sector using the latest production technologies. The EU shipbuilding industry has launched a number of initiatives to ensure it can safely navigate the storms ahead, including probably the most ambitious so far: LeaderSHIP 2015.
