Around a third of migrant workers that come to Wales from eastern Europe end up homeless, according to a study from Shelter Cymru, June 2010. The study explores the housing and homelessness experiences of households from eight of the new member states that joined the European Union in 2004. The eight accession countries (A8) are Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia. |
