Press Release: Climate change – Ireland ratifies the Kyoto Protocol – Dempsey publishes progress report on climate change strategy

Mr. Noel Dempsey, Ireland's Minister for the Environment and Local Government, attended the EU ratification ceremony of the Kyoto Protocol in the UN Headquarters in New York on 31 May 2002. In parallel with ratification, Minister Dempsey also published a progress report on implementation of the national climate change strategy.
