Prospectus directive of deep concern to small companies

Letter from three chairmen, and written on behalf of 53 more chairmen, chief executives and directors, of smaller quoted UK companies. The authors are very concerned by European Commission proposals on the prospectus to be issued when securities are offered to the public or admitted to trading. They fear that the proposals will massively increase the burden of 'red tape'.
