Press Release: EU-US hold high-level meeting on anti-trust policy

Preview of a top-level meeting in the field of competition policy, to be held on 24 September 2001, between Mario Monti, European Commissioner for Competition, and his US counterparts. The meeting will consider recent antitrust developments in the US and the EU, bilateral cooperation and how to further reinforce it, and multilateral initiatives. It coincides with the 10th anniversary of the EU-US bilateral agreement on competition policy.
