Ratko Mladic, the Bosnian Serb wartime army commander accused of genocide, could be arrested 'within a few weeks', the chief prosecutor at the UN tribunal in The Hague, Carla del Ponte, said in an interview with the FT, June 2006. General Mladic is charged with organising the murder of more than 7,000 Bosnian Muslim men and boys in the US 'safe zone' of Srebrenica in July 1995.
