Polish companies fear the government’s anti-communist witch-hunt could lead to chaos, the organisation that represents Warsaw-listed groups, the Association of Stock Exchange Issuers, said March 2007. A new law has come into effect in Poland which requires up to 700,000 people to confess if they informed for the communist-era secret police.
