UniCredit broke Polish law, says Treasury minister

Polish Treasury Minister Wojciech Jasinski has told the Financial Times that Italian banking group UniCredit broke Polish law by trying to merge two local affiliates without first obtaining government approval. Mr Jasinski was speaking on the eve of meetings in Brussels and Warsaw to decide on the merger.
