‘Secret prison’ issue dogs Italy, Poland

According to the human rights organisation the Council of Europe, Poland and Italy have not given clear answers to questions about their possible collusion with the United States over 'secret prisons' and illegal abductions. The report also found that Europe had virtually no safeguards to restrict foreign intelligence agents nor any means of ensuring that its airports and airspace were not used for illegal abductions.
