Press Release: Commission provides humanitarian aid worth EUR2.5 million for vulnerable groups in Yemen

The European Commission has allocated €2.5 million to address basic needs for safe water and healthcare in rural Yemen. The aid was intended to bring relief to some of the most vulnerable in the population, with an emphasis on children and women. The funding was to be channelled through ECGO, the European Commission’s Humanitarian Aid department.
