EU rules risk to sport

Olympic officials meeting in Poland are being warned that European Union directives could have far-reaching implications for sport. The gathering is one of a series being held by sports organisations in an attempt to convince the EU that sport should be regarded as a special case in so far as competition rules are concerned.
