The planned merger between the London and Frankfurt stock exchanges has been called off, at least for now. The London Stock Exchange (LSE) said it would withdraw the proposal, so that it could focus on fighting a hostile take-over bid from the owner of the Stockholm stock exchange, OM Gruppen. |
