The first Joint Committee between the European Community and the Palestinian Authority was held 23 May 2000 in Brussels. The Joint Committee was established pursuant to the Interim Association Agreement on Trade and Co-operation between the EC and the Palestinians that entered into force on 1 July 1997 and meet regularly once a year. |
