Other information: Europartenariat Austria 1999 / Phare Partenariat Vienna, 10-11.5.99. Around 2,500 SMEs from across the world participated in the Europartenariat 1999, alongside the first-ever Phare Partenariat, allowing for the setting up of partnerships, joint ventures, franchise agreements and import-export agreements. The main objective of the Europartenariat event in Austria is to further stimulate the economic development of the country by encouraging co-operation between Austrian SMEs and their counterparts from inside and outside the EU. The Phare Partenariat aims at enhancing co-operation, offering favourable opportunities to SMEs from the candidate countries and promoting the culture of entrepreneurship to these countries. |
