Training For newcomers to EU information or those wanting to refresh their knowledge, there are a number of courses to look out for in the Autumn. In alphabetical order, Aslib, the Association for Information Management, has scheduled the one-day 'European Union Information Sources on the Internet' for 8 November 1999 while its two-day 'European Union Information' course, covering printed and electronic sources on the EU, will take place on 9-10 November. Both courses will be held at Aslib's offices in London. Firstly, 'EU Legal Information on the Internet' is programmed for 8 September 1999 in London. Later in the year, 'Electronic Sources of EU Information' will run on 8 December, also in London, and on 14 December a new course targeted at school librarians and called 'Europe in the curriculum: effective support by the school librarian' will be launched at Bradford. It will look at value-for-money ways to exploit relevant electronic resources.
