Co-operation between nuclear regulatory authorities. The Commission has issued an invitation to submit proposals aimed at promoting co-operation between the nuclear regulatory authorities of the European Union and their counterpoints in the 'applicant countries' of Central and Eastern Europe. There is a separate invitation to submit proposals aimed at promoting harmonisation in the field of safety of nuclear installations.
