General:
R&D agreements in the motor industry. The Commission has come out in favour of R&D agreements in the European motor industry by approving the EUCAR (European Council for Automotive Research and Development) Agreement concluded by the main motor manufacturers established in Europe. The purpose of the Agreement is to enhance the parties' research efforts in the economic, technical and ecological fields.
