EU Iegislation:
Free movement of goods. The Commission has adopted a proposal for a Council Regulation to enable the Commission to intervene to restore free movement of goods. The Regulation would enable the Commission to request, by means of a mandatory decision, a Member State on the territory of which serious obstacles to the free movement of goods have been noted, to take the measures necessary to remove those obstacles.
