EU funding allocations:
ARIANE. The Commission has designated 184 projects in the field of books and reading to receive EU financial support of € 2.3m under the ARIANE Programme for 1997. The programme is intended to give support to individual translations as well as to projects involving the promotion of books and reading, and projects providing further training in this field.
