Competition law of the European Union, The Netherlands and Belgium:
The rationale for this book is the coming into force in the Netherlands on 1 January 1998 of a new Competition Act, more in line with European rules on competition. Similarly, Belgium introduced a new Competition Act four years previously. The aim of this book is thus to help those who may be operating in or with those countries who need to understand the competition regimes of the Netherlands and Belgium and the over-riding EU competition rules. The book provides the substantive and procedural aspects of the three regimes with a special emphasis on EC law.
