Not to be taken ‘by mouth’

An intriguing line in a Scientific Veterinary Committee report published last week states: “If there was a risk for man from milk, it would largely be via the oral route.”

This is a bit worrying, since the report on The risk analysis for colostrum, milk and milk products concludes, in fact, that there is no risk of BSE from milk.

So just how do you consume milk while avoiding the potentially risky 'oral route'? Answers on a postcard, please ... or, on second thoughts, perhaps not.
