The Commission has condemned the Russian authorities’ imposition of discriminatory minimum prices on vodka imported from the EU

As from yesterday (13 March), each litre of vodka from the EU will be sold at a minimum 6.3 ecu, while imports from the rest of the CIS will cost only 2.9 ecu. The issue will be discussed at talks between Foreign Affairs Commissioner Hans van den Broek and the Russian government on 18-19 March.
