Date: 07/03/1996 There is Euro-money to be had for most things these days - even tackling the troubling problem of the falling sperm count amongst British, Danish, German and French men. It turns out that money is available under the EU's four-year environment and climate research programme to fund “research proposals addressing the effects of man-made chemicals on the human reproductive system”. This reassuring news comes in a Parliamentary written answer from none other than Commissioner Edith Cresson, who once famously remarked that one out of four British males was homosexual. But she has still not named any names. |
