A new section called “Kaleidoscope” of the World Cinema looks at the best world-wide productions including avant-premieres of films proposed to Belgian distributors, a Focus on Chilean Cinema, films without distributors in Belgium (with particular emphasis on first films), the “5th Night of the Short Film on Wide Screen” and films for children.

The competitive section “Belgian Focus” will not only be open to short films, but also to feature films and documentaries released the previous year. Tim Robbins is the guest of honour.
