Euro MPs and member state governments have buried their differences

over the future of Trans-European energy networks. At stake was the right of MEPs to share power with ministers in choosing suitable projects to be added to the original list. Under the agreement, governments may not add or subtract schemes from the list without the Parliament's approval.
