Awkward lot, European Parliament staff. Entre Nous learns that employees of the Socialist Group are refusing to leave their offices in the Montoyer building to follow their political masters and mistresses into the new Espace Leopold centre.

Presumably they are perfectly happy where they are and cannot see any point in disturbing themselves any more than necessary, a point of view which defeats the apparent objective of the institution to move as many people as possible between as many buildings as possible in as many cities as possible. Now we hear MEPs may have to give way to requests from staff to build a passerelle between Montoyer and Leopold so that they can commute instead of uprooting. Are you listening, taxpayers?
