Blair will say root cause was extremism not Iraq

At a meeting with members of the UK Muslim community on 19 July 2005, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair was expected to argue that the cause of the London bombings did not lie in political causes such as the war in Iraq but in warped versions of Islam.
