The European Commission on 29 September 2005 cleared under the EU Merger Regulation the proposed acquisition of the abrasives and diamond tools company Wheelabrator Allevard SA of France by investment company LBO France. The Commission concluded that the transaction would not significantly impede effective competition in the European Economic Area (EEA) or any substantial part of it. |
