This report provides an account of the activities and achievements of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC) during 2004. It encompasses all 25 EU Member States and focuses on discrimination, racism and xenophobia in employment, education and housing, as well as on legislative developments and on racist violence and crime. Part 2 of the report, published later in the year, provided an overview of the situation regarding racism and xenophobia in the Community and its Member States, also highlighting examples of good practice. Please note that the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia (EUMC) was replaced by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in 2007. The above report does not appear to be available on the FRA website. |
