Report of a visit of Danuta Hübner, European Commissioner for Regional Policy, to Estonia on 20 June 2005. Mrs Hübner met Prime Minister M. Andrus Ansip, the Minister of Finance Mr Aivar Sõerd, the Regional Affairs Minister Jaan Ounapuu and representatives of bodies implementing the structural funds and the non-profit sector. The aim of the visit was to discuss and learn how the structural and cohesion funds were used in Estonia where the EU has invested close to € 700 million to support growth and jobs for the programming period 2004-2006. |
