On the occasion of his visit to Kiev, the European Commissioner for Energy, Andris Piebalgs, on 27 April 2005 met with Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister, Oleh Rybachuk, and with the Minister for Fuel and Energy, Ivan Plachkov. This visit followed the recent adoption of the EU-Ukraine Neighbourhood Action plan and the recognition of energy as a priority area for strengthened EU-Ukraine co-operation. |
