The Your Europe portal gives individuals and businesses practical information on their rights and opportunities in the EU. It focuses on real-life, cross-border situations, e.g. European citizens wishing to work or study in another EU country, or European businesses wanting to move to or open a new branch elsewhere in the EU.

The information provided is divided in two areas: Citizens and Business. Each area presents specific information of interest to Citizens or Business activities.

For citizens is provided detailed practical information on your rights and opportunities in the EU and its Internal Market plus advice on how to exercise these rights in practice. For example, you can learn more about living, working and studying in another EU country.

Information available includes: General EU-wide guides. These guides give a general overview of your EU-wide rights and opportunities and of how to make effective use of them. To access this information select a guide title and the language of preference from the corresponding left menu. Factsheets: practical information at both EU and national level. More than 80 individual factsheets are giving you detailed practical information about exercising your rights both at EU level and in a specific EU country as well as particular situations you are likely to encounter. To access this information select first the general area, then the specific information available for this area, the county and available language from the corresponding left menu. Useful addresses: Providing you with relevant postal addresses, telephone numbers, websites and email addresses. For business 'Your Europe' provides you with practical information on your rights and opportunities in running your business in the EU and its Internal Market. By bringing together data, information and useful links to other sources of information the "Your Europe - Business" can answer or provide advice on questions such as the following: Would you like to do business in the European Internal Market? Do you need advice on how to certify your product? Need a business partner in the EU?
