Press Release: Germany: Germany willing to provide tsunami early warning system

At the request of the German government a group of geoscientists have put forward a plan for the establishment of a tsunami early warning system in the Indian Ocean region. The system could be in place within three years and would include disaster avoidance procedures to be followed when a tsunami warning is given
