EU to lift sanctions on US but warns on Boeing

The European Union said on 25 October 2004 that it would remove trade sanctions imposed on the US in a dispute over US corporate tax subsidies, but warned it might levy new penalties in 2005 over continued benefits it sees as illegal to Boeing, the aircraft maker, and other US companies.
