Cost of tackling hazardous waste ‘set to triple’

'Hazardous waste: A growing challenge', a report issued by the (UK) Environment Agency on 24 March 2004 warns that the cost of dealing with hazardous waste is likely to triple, and new European Union regulations are likely to result in more fly-tipping of hazardous waste.
