Danube nations adopt action plan

Ministers from countries along the Danube river basin have adopted an action programme aimed at protecting the region from floods. The programme was adopted at the first ever ministerial meeting of the Danube River Protection Commission in the Austrian capital, Vienna, 13-14 December 2004.
