Press Release: DEFRA welcomes voluntary changes to the UK emissisons trading scheme

Six leading companies involved in the UK Emissions Trading Scheme restated their commitment to the scheme in November 2004, by offering to provide an additional 8.9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions reductions.
